As per the recently proposed route, the corridor will connect three major industrial areas in the state (Bhiwari, Nimrana and Khairthal), by 2041 it is projected to cater to more than 16 lakh passengers each day. It will also add to the investment possibilities in the area" said an urban development official. (Daily Bhaskar).
However my concern is that the most strategic place, Neemrana, have no mention in the recently propsed stations (stops) between Delhi and Alwar high speed train route.
The proposed route of the fast train from Delhi to Alwar which will connect the urban clusters in Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan must consider the Neemrana (SNB Global City) as one of the Station (stop) before Khairthal and Alwar. Neemrana has already housed big names e.g. Havells, Liberty, Parle Biscuits, Ginni International, Garima, dozens of Japanese companies, well reputed housing developers and International level of educational institution e. g. NIIT University, Raffles University, Raffles International School, Rai Foundation Rath International School including Five Star Hotels e.g. Neemrana Fort, Neesa Liesure, Days, Shiva Oasis, Shakti Resort, etc (http://www.neemrana.co/2011/04/rajasthan-town-to-get-smart-city-tag.html). It is also estimated that the population of the proposed smart city will reach to 10 lacs by 2031. The SNB global city is one of the seven cities which are only planned city only after making of Chandigarh. Moreover, the Government of Rajasthan has already announced the Master Plan of the smart city and soon planning to acquire 40,000 acre of land required for the city planning.
